Oops! I turned 30 yesterday and almost didn't notice it. It might have slipped on by if not for my lovely wife and her parents spoiling me with a roast dinner followed by cake.

The readers here are die-hard and they keep coming back and I keep disappointing them with 3-week stretches of nothing. But they know that and keep coming back anyway. Go figure.

Thanks guys! It was a bit of a non-event but I plan on celebrating 30 properly once we have our heads back above water. I've been instructed by my workmates that I'm "not allowed to not celebrate it" so there are some expectations it would seem...
